An 0 gauge live steam locomotive is being sold in the Charterhouse four day auction of collectors’ items, antiques & interiors from 27th August to 1st September.
“The train forms part of a small collection of 0 gauge locomotives, carriages and rolling stock from a property near Yeovil.” Commented Richard Bromell. “The owner has not steamed up or run any of the trains for some time and has decided to let a new owner enjoy them all.”

The collection includes 0 gauge live steam and clockwork models made by Bassett-Lowke and Hornby. Dating to pre and post WWII the collection has been run and played with over the past 80-90 years by their owners and carefully returned to their boxes after use.
