A collection of modern gold coins, which lived in an attic for several years, was sold in the Charterhouse two day February auction in Sherborne for nearly £50,000.

An Italian pottery plate, which was chipped, sold for £567,000 at the Charterhouse two day February auction in Sherborne, Dorset.

The lot which travelled the furthest to the Charterhouse auction on Friday 18th January proved to be the top lot of the day, despite the weather.
