Items from the estate of the late Malcolm “Mac” McCulloch, a band member from The Yetties are included in the Charterhouse auction of music, film and other memorabilia on Monday 2nd October.

“The Yetties from Yetminster were hugely popular and successful and released over 40 albums.” Commented Richard Bromell. “The Yetties announced their retirement in 2010 and held their last concert, in Sherborne, in 2011.”

Catalogue

The Yetties, originally from Yetminster, Dorset, were a folk band who turned professional in 1967.

They toured the world holding concerts, including Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong, India and Canada, in addition to many UK performances, TV and radio appearances.

Mac McCulloch passed away in Sherborne in December 2021. Charterhouse Auctioneers were instructed to sell the contents of his house, with his personal collection of Yetties related memorabilia being auctioned in their specialist sale of music and film items.

Lots in the auction from Mac incudes his guitars, a banjo, other musical instruments, records, personal and professional photographs, ephemera, and other items all of which are being sold without reserve on 2nd October in Sherborne
