The two day Charterhouse December auction of collectors’ items has some real gems amongst its lots.

An album of Great Britain stamps is estimated to sell for up to £1,500, is just one of the interesting lots in the Charterhouse two day March auction of collector’s items.

A collection of old banknotes are worth big bucks in the Charterhouse collector’s auction on 13th & 14th December.

An Italian pottery plate, which was chipped, sold for £567,000 at the Charterhouse two day February auction in Sherborne, Dorset.

The lot which travelled the furthest to the Charterhouse auction on Friday 18th January proved to be the top lot of the day, despite the weather.

A rare piece of American Presidential history goes under the Charterhouse hammer in Sherborne, Dorset on Thursday 17th November, when a gold watch is entered into the sale which was presented by Grover Cleveland, the 24th American President.

The Charterhouse auction of silver, jewellery and watches on 27th August also contains a collection of over 200 seals.
