An album of stamps is estimated to sell for a total of £10,000 in the Charterhouse auction of coins, militaria and stamps on Thursday 29th August.

“The owner is thinning down some of his collection and took advantage of the free valuation days we offer at our Sherborne salerooms.” Commented Richard Bromell. Stamps in the album range from iconic penny blacks printed in 1840 through to high-value stamps including a rare Queen Victoria orange £5 stamp.
