There are hundreds of lots of antiques and decorative items from a farm near Mark, Somerset, being sold by Charterhouse on Thursday 17th October.
“The owner has been collecting and amassing a vast array of furniture from the 18th to 20th centuries over many years.” Commented Richard Bromell. “Having filled up most of his barns he decided now is the time to have an auction to substantially reduce his collection as he has run out of storage space!”
There is a great selection of furniture and other items, most of which are being sold without reserve. Many will be ideal as furnishing pieces in modern homes and will be attractive to private clients.
The auction very much has the feel of a good old fashioned country house auction, but on a farm south of Bristol.
There is viewing at the farm, Southwick Barton, Southwick Road, Mark, nr Highbridge, TA9 4LJ, on Wednesday 16th October 9.30am-4.30pm. The auction will be held at Charterhouse in their Sherborne salerooms and with live internet bidding.
All the lots, with live internet bidding, are available on charterhouse-auction.com
